Welcome to the music room! The school year is off to a great start with plenty of music-making going on at IPS and WIS!

Fourth graders are especially excited this year because they are learning to play recorder! This past week, all fourth graders brought their recorders home for practicing. Please listen to the songs they are working on--they need an audience! Also be sure your student returns their recorder on days when there is music class so that they will not fall behind. If a recorder is forgotten at home they will not be allowed to take it home the next time.

Chelsvig & Kunze: Mondays and Fridays (Wednesday if we miss a Mon. or Fri.)

Montgomery & Haufle: Tuesdays and Thursdays (Wednesday if we miss a Tues. or Thurs.)

You should be very proud of your 4th grader because they have been doing fabulous job! Currently we are working on the notes B and A. To assist them, they may access http://dexterdragon.com to play along with recordings of the songs in the story. Please refer to the letter that was sent home for username and password information.
